Call for papers: building enclosure symposium
The Building Enclosure Sustainability Symposium is a peer-reviewed technical symposium focusing on net-zero buildings.
The call for papers is now open for the BESS - SB13 Conference, which will be held at Pomona, Calif., June 24 to 25, 2013. The deadline is at 3 p.m. (PDT) on Jan. 21, 2013. Architects, engineers, building scientists, sustainability consultants, educators, contractors, product manufacturers, utility professionals, industry members, students, policy makers, and related professionals are invited to submit papers for blind peer review, presentation, and publication in the symposium proceedings.
Papers must focus on the symposium’s six major topics:
- Innovative design
- Improving existing building stock performance
- Validation
- Affordable sustainability
- Empowering the user
- Education.
Papers should be submitted as Word files, should not exceed 4,000 words / 8 MB, and should have no identifying marks. Images should be embedded in the Word file. Information on submissions can be found here.
