Brewery ensures its facility is energy-efficient

Revolution Brewing has upgraded its Chicago facility to include several energy-efficient systems, including highly efficient lighting and heat recovery.

Revolution Brewing in Chicago features several energy-efficiency updates in its brewing facility. The owner and design team used incentives and technical assistance from local utility companies (the ComEd and Nicor New Construction Service) to support energy-efficient elements in the lighting design and other aspects of the retrofit. 

Revolution Brewery is a new Chicago craft brewery. It's housed in a 43,000-sq-ft renovation of an existing warehouse in the Logan Square neighborhood, and  earned the “Best Chicago Microbrewery” award from Time Out Chicago in 2013. The building includes both a large brewing operation and a tasting taproom.
