Westbury, N.Y.— LPTek's new line of computer boards is specifically designed for data acquisition, control, and measurement through the parallel port. All boards can be embedded in the user's system, or they can come packaged in the TMC port. In embedded systems, the LPTek data bus permits configuration of add-on cards as a mezzanine bus, so up to 16 boards in any combination can be standard without bus and wiring problems. The Control Board is small enough to be embedded in the end application. The line of systems offers the ability to add incremental functionality to data acquisition and control systems with flexibility not limited to any specific data card.
