Houston, Tex.— Aspen Technology recently announced a new version of Aspen Manufacturing Suite built on Aspen Framework and designed to make key plant information available via the Internet. Specific suite products receiving enhancements include Batch.21, Web.21, Aspen IQ, Aspen Watch, and DMCplus. Additional suite products introduced as part of this release are Process Order for linking among scheduling, execution, and accounting processes; Transition Manager for integrating with Process Recipe to deliver grade-specific recipe data; and a new DMCplus viewer enabling interaction with DMCplus via the Internet.
