Emergency Power Systems for Hospitals: Sweating the Small Stuff

Hospitals must operate 24/7/365, no matter how bad the weather or other prevailing circumstances. In fact, the worse the weather—tornadoes, floods, hurricanes, earthquakes, and wildfires—the more likely it is that the hospitals nearest the areas of concern will be needed. Many of these concerns can impact the availability of power. The Great Blackout of 2003: What have we learned?
