- Membrane-separation technology for the reclamation of water, raw materials and process chemicals.
- Bioremediation using microorganisms such as anaerobic bacteria for potentially harmful contaminant spills and groundwater remediation.
- Bypass filtration for heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems.
- Membrane bioreactors for use in solids separation.
- Total maximum daily loads (TMDLs) based on water-quality standards to establish equitable waste-load allocations for industrial waste discharge.
