Adjustable frequency drive

-- Consulting-Specifying Engineer, 3/1/2008

Prevent transformer overheating while significantly reducing line harmonics with the CPX 9000 Drive from Eaton. The model uses 18-pulse, clean power technology to provide pure sinusoidal waveforms. With the smallest footprint in the industry, the drive exceeds the requirements of IEEE 519-1992 for harmonic distortion. The drive is available in indoor and outdoor configurations at 208 V, 480 V, and 575 V. The model installs by integrating the filter into the drive enclosure, which offers a smaller footprint than what loose filters and drive combinations offer.
