Eliminate harmonic distortion in HVAC/R applications for maximized grid capacity, systemwide operational efficiency and reliability with the Active Filter from Danfoss Drives. The filter is constructed from VLT variable frequency drive technology and engineered to mitigate harmonics to a lower level than passive and 18-pulse filter options. The filter adapts and performs in various installations, while improving the power factors and canceling harmonic distortion. The improved power factor equals 1 at any load condition, and the grid capacity increases because derating transformers are not necessary when harmonic distortion is mitigated.
