Security-lighting wallpack

By Staff -- Consulting-Specifying Engineer, 10/1/2000

Security-lighting wallpack is a low-wattage model designed to reduce glare, sky glow and "light trespass" at entryways, walkways and general perimeter areas. Wallpack cuts light off sharply, eliminating wasteful light above 90 degrees. Device also prevents perimeter light from spilling onto adjacent properties. Units use metal-halide and high-pressure-sodium lamps of up to 100 watts, as well as triple-tube compact-fluorescent lamps. One-piece polycarbonate lenses and die-cast aluminum housings provide vandal-resistance and durability. (Lithonia Lighting) Circle 6
